Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelone
The « Liceu big theater » (in catalan : Gran Teatre del Liceu), known as « El Liceu » and especially as an opera theater, is Barcelona’s older theater, and considered as one of the most prestigious in the world. Located in the neighborhood of La Rambla, it has seen, for more than 150 years, the most prestigious works, performed by the best singers in the world. For decades, it has been the symbol and meeting place of the aristocracy and the Catalan middle class.
Teatro Real, Madrid
The Teatro Real (Royal Theater) of Madrid is one of the most important European opera room. Its construction was organized by Queen Isabelle II, from where its qualifier of “Real”. The opera good years (especially marked by Verdi’s visit in 1863 who came to present its opera ‘La forza del destino’), from its inauguration in 1850 (until 1925), ended when the theater had to closed his doors because of damages caused to the building by the breakthrough of the Madrid metro.
Palacio Euskalduna, Bilbao
The Euskalduna Palace, or Palace of Congresses and Music, was the second building built in the Abandoibarra urban area after the Guggenheim museum of Bilbao. Inaugurated in 1999, it was created in corten steel by the architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios, as a symbol of the last ship built in the old Euskalduna shipyards, which occupied this space decades ago. Today, it offers one of the most edgy programmes of concerts, operas, and theater plays of Spain.
Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelone
The Palau de la Música Catalana is a concert hall registered at the humanity mondial heritage of the UNESCO and built at the beginning of the XX century by the architect Domènech i Montaner to be the Orfeó Català’s headquarter. This building, of the 'modernist' current is a jewel of Barcelona’s architectural and musical heritage and conjugates on its magnificent facade the sculpture, the mosaic, the stained-glass windows and the forge.
Teatro alla Scala, Milan
The Teatro alla Scala of Milan is one of the most famous opera theater in the world. Palais Garnier, Paris
The Palais Garnier is an architecture masterpiece of the XIX century. Its construction was decided by Napoléon III during the major renovations of the capital carried out by Baron Haussmann. However, it should be noted the current room ceiling was painted later, during the renovation in 1964, by the artist Marc Chagall.

Palau de les Arts, Valencia
Valencia’s operas are played in the principal room of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Which has a capacity of 1400 seats). This building with a futurist architecture, both inside and out, is part of the Cité des Arts et des Sciences of Valencia : architectural set and cultural complex, especially made of different museums and of one oceanarium ( The Oceanografic), which have been created by the valencian architect Santiago Calatrava Valls.

The Bayerische Staatsoper (Bavarian State Opera) is an opera and ballet house in Munich. It is one of the most prestigious operas in the world. With a 1200-seat hall, it offers each season a rich and eclectic program, with many world premieres.
